Beach Day Number 2

We met up with some friends at the beach yesterday (the first time we've been back since my post in July . . . if you don't already know, follow-through isn't always my strong suit). It was a perfect day--no crowds, not too hot, and the water was warm. Annika was eager to "pay in da ocean," but only if I would hold her. With the help of her little pal Isabella and my friend Lisa, she did eventually venture into the tide a little ways so she could fill her bucket with water to dump in the sand. She soon made herself at home and had a fabulous time running laps around us on the beach and trying to skip and jump. That wide-open space just makes her wanna move!
