One of Annika's favorite summer treats is a "smoomy," basically fresh fruit and sweetened yogurt blended with frozen blueberries and ice.
I couldn't resist letting Annika lick up the leftover batter from the zucchini cake I made this week. Don't think that I didn't have some too! Annika promised she would forgive me if there turned out to be salmonella in the batter.
Oh, and as much as she loved this yummy treat, that maniacal laugh in the bottom picture isn't just from the pure delight of zucchini cake batter; it's what she now does any time we get out the camera.
