I hope the adventurous spirits last--we still have a long way to go! Here is our itinerary for the next couple weeks:
Monday 5/18 -- Packers come to pack up whatever is left in our house
Tuesday 5/19 -- Movers come to load the truck
We'll be staying with some friends those two nights
Wednesday 5/20 -- fly to Omaha and stay with my mom in Fremont for two nights
Friday 5/22 -- drive to Orange City, IA and participate in a wedding rehearsal
Saturday 5/23-- Tyler and Samantha's wedding. Annika is a flower girl; Zac is a groomsman. It will be a big day! Oh, and by the way, it's our anniversary.
Sunday 5/24 -- drive back to Fremont and stay another few days. See Kyle and Erika and the kids; celebrate Daniel's birthday.
Thursday 5/28 -- fly back to San Diego
Friday 5/29-- Begin the migration north. We should hear from the movers on when our stuff will arrive; we'll plan our trip accordingly, perhaps stopping to see family along the way.
Monday 5/1 -- my mom flies into San Jose to help us settle in. Yea, mom! She'll stay with us for two weeks. Yea, mom!
I have been a little anxious to just get on with the move and get this whole ordeal over with. Maybe the visit to the midwest will help me shift gears and enjoy the ride. We'll all need to.
